Gifts

Your presence is the greatest gift of all.

Should you wish to mark the occasion in another way, any small gesture, heartfelt token or meaningful item that we can keep as a souvenir of you and of our special day would be cherished.

Alternatively, you may want to contribute to a piece of art that we are yet to choose, and which we would like to associate with you.

If easier, we have arranged a short wedding list at Le Printemps (QR code below), where we have shared some ideas for your consideration.

Our Story

Although we work in the same company, we met at a party in Geneva on the shores of Leman lake. Three days later we decided to go on vacation together in Spain where we fell in love.

About Christopher

Originating from beautiful France with a charming British influence, Christopher is a lawyer educated in both countries. He's also an amazing chef, celebrated for his exquisite culinary skills, but also a fantastic diver who enjoys the thrill of cold-water adventures. Alongside Ana, he finds joy in their hiking excursions.

About Ana

Born and raised in Belgrade and now on her way to becoming Swiss, having lived in Geneva for the past eleven years. A former journalist, today she is international affairs director diving into diplomatic and business waters. Fun fact: As a teenager, Ana volunteered at the zoo in Kalemegdan, where we are having our wedding celebration. She is a great admirer of Christopher's culinary talents.

TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT:

From Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, taxi services have a fixed price option available provided you collect a voucher at the airport.
Before leaving the baggage claim area, collect a voucher from one of the 3 e-kiosks. Note that no payment is made when you collect the voucher, you pay at the end of the taxi ride, the amount will be the one indicated on the voucher.:
From the Airport to the city center (zone 2) the price is usually 3.500 RSD (exchange rate 117 RSD for 1 Euro)
When you leave the airport go to the taxi lane and give the voucher to the taxi driver and mention if you will be paying by credit card. Most of the taxi drivers accept credit cards but best to mention it before entering the car.

If you are adventurous, you can always hop on a bus, tram or trolleybus. Public transportation in Belgrade is FREE!

Visa requirements for Serbia

Citizens of many countries can enter Serbia without a visa for short stays (usually up to 90 days within a 180-day period). However, nationals of certain countries do require a visa before traveling.

Who needs a visa?

Visa requirements depend on nationality. Generally:
* Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, and most European countries do not need a visa
* Citizens of countries such as India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ghana, Egypt (in some cases), and others usually do require a visa.

Since this can change, it is always best to check based on the guest’s passport.

Money Exchange

For a better exchange rate, please change your money in the city, not at the airport
We recommend using the Alta exchange office, which usually offers good rates.

Interesting Wedding Discoveries from Serbian, French, and British Traditions”

Rakija Toast

In Serbia, no celebration
truly begins without
a proper toast.
You may be offered rakija –
a traditional fruit brandy –
so raise your glass, say “Živeli!” and enjoy the moment (responsibly 😉).

Speeches

At British weddings,
heartfelt
(and often humorous)
speeches are an essential part of the celebration.

So get ready for a few laughs,
a few tears, and plenty of memorable moments.

Church wedding

In the Orthodox Church, attendees typically stand during the wedding ceremony (as well as during services). However, don’t worry —there are some seats available for those who may have done too much sightseeing or haven’t broken in their shoes.

About Serbia

Belgrade

Belgrade is a city at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, a place where history, culture, and the modern rhythm of life naturally come together. Its streets, squares, and riverbanks carry the spirit of different eras, as well as the energy of a city that is constantly changing and developing.

Kalemegdan

Kalemegdan is one of the most recognizable symbols of Belgrade. From its walls, there is a view of the confluence of the two rivers, while the fortress preserves traces of the past, battles, peoples, and times that shaped the city.
